The objectives of this course are to explore how to teach English and how we can become effective English language teachers. In this course, students developed competency in core aspects of English language teaching, including lesson planning and pedagogical methods in teaching.

This course explores the cognitive and neural underpinnings of language processing and bi/multilingualism. Four themes will be explored: first and second language processing, maturational (age) constraints in language acquisition and processing, neurostructural changes as a result of bi-/multilingualism, and the impacts of pathology (e.g., stroke, lesions) on language processing and use.
